When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, I expected vibrant reefs. And I found them. But then I discovered something on the Amadive itinerary: **Wreck Diving**. My pulse jumped. This was more than a typical dive; this was an adventure into the past.

I'll admit, I felt nervous. Diving a wreck requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive** was fantastic. Their Divemasters gave us a very thorough safety briefing. We discussed safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what we would see. The fact we were in a small group instantly made me feel comfortable.

Descending was surreal. First, it was just a dark shape in the distance, and then it came into view. It was enormous. It's now a bustling artificial reef, covered in soft corals and swarming with fish. I spotted giant groupers peeking from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of gliding alongside this giant, silent vessel is indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water click here diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and seeking an adventure beyond the standard reef, I cannot urge you this **dive** highly enough.
